My approach begins with creating a safe and supportive environment.

Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behavior influence each other, and the role of (family) history and personal dynamics. Through hypnotherapy, I help you discover your own answers and solutions. I then guide you in taking concrete steps forward.

From my personal experience as an immigrant, I have sensitivity and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds. Language, stories and metaphors are important tools in hypnotherapy.

I offer therapy and coaching in Dutch, Russian (both native languages) and English.

How I can help you

I focus on individual needs of the client, providing guidance in achieving desired changes. This can range from reducing anxiety and stress, strengthening self-confidence, processing traumatic experiences or breaking harmful habits, such as smoking.

Hypnotherapy is also effective in reducing or improving physical complaints such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and chronic pain.

How it works: the trajectory

An individual approach

After a short introduction call, we plan an intake. During this extensive conversation we discuss the changes you want to achieve.

I then devise your individual treatment plan. During each follow-up session we discuss this treatment and adjust it according to what has changed and needed at the moment.

In addition to therapeutic conversations, I apply various methods and techniques:

  • Body-oriented work

Wat is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of short-term therapy (5-12 sessions) in which we work with limiting beliefs and behavioral patterns. Among other techniques, hypnotherapists use hypnotic trance: a state of deep relaxation and increased focus.

Medical hypnosis is a form of evidence-based therapy, which means that its effect has been scientifically proven for physical conditions like chronic pain and irritable bowel syndrome.

When administered by a trained healthcare provider, hypnosis is considered a safe and effective complementary treatment .

Creative flow

Creativity arises in a state of relaxation and focus. Through tailor-made visualizations and exercises, I guide groups in breaking through (thinking) blocks and finding creative solutions.

3 months

For those who feel stuck around a specific theme or challenge and are ready for change. In five sessions, we clearly map out what is holding you back and where movement is possible. Conversations are combined with transformative techniques, so you don’t get stuck in analysis but take real steps forward.

For those who want to break old patterns on a deeper level. In ten sessions, we work with transformative techniques such as systemic work and hypnotherapy, helping you gain more confidence and control, release limiting patterns, and apply new insights in your life.

Over the course of a year, you create space for lasting change. You learn to shape your life in a way that fits you and develop confidence in yourself, along with new insights into your thoughts, feelings, and patterns. The trajectory allows time and attention for deep transformation and is supported with tailored exercises.

Online sessions

IIt can be helpful to receive therapy in your own, safe environment. If desired, I also offer the option for online sessions.

Health insurance

Depending on the policy conditions, hypnotherapy by a registered therapist is reimbursed. I recommend contacting your health insurer to check specific benefits and conditions. Insurers that have an additional module for hypnotherapy can be found in the healthcare guide for hypnotherapy.

Location

The practice is located in a unique building – Polderblik, surrounded by greenery and water in Almere. A few days a week, I also work from Amsterdam (Huisartsenpraktijk De Plantage).
